Trading penny stocks is fairly easy if you learn the correct trading strategy. I trade penny stocks for a living but it took me several years to learn before I found a method of consistently earning profits in the stock market. I also trade certain higher priced mid and large cap stocks, but I usually avoid crowded stocks like AAPL, GOOG, and AMZN. I started to trade in 2004 and became profitable around the beginning of 2006. When you do not have somebody to mentor you (which is the case for 99% of people) or a really good penny stock trading ebook on how to trade penny stocks (which are very rare), it is very difficult to learn how to trade and it takes a lot of time. Prior to 2004 I had been investing in the stock market and typically just breaking even or earning 10% a year in index funds. I was not rich at the time and wanted to learn a way to start earning larger returns without waiting 40 years for my money to grow in index funds like the S & P and Nasdaq 100. Index funds are okay for retirement or if you have no idea about technical tahlil and how to read the charts.I no longer invest in individual stocks for more than a few days at the most. Stocks are way to volatile now a days to sit through the ups and downs with larges sums of capital. I would much rather be able to day trade penny stocks and be able to sleep better at night knowing my money is not at risk to actions by the central bankers or some natural disaste. ...
